Soapy, original, luxurious fragrance

Clean, fresh, original. Clean sleek packaging. I get at least one compliment everytime I wear this fragrance. Def One of my favs and def reccomend!

IT'S NOT JUST A FRAGRANCE, IT'S PRADA!

This is the first scent I ever bought with my first job as a young urban professional. I happened to have purchased it the same month it had been released (2006-2007-ish IIRC). It was my office scent because it was clean, fresh, sophisticated, not over powering like Acqua di Gio at the time, and reminded me of my local barbershop; powdery, soapy, and fresh. This was perfect with my suits during the week and casual Friday-Weekend jeans-blazer look. My lover at the time would wear it and we went through quite a few bottles. It could definitely be an all-season wear especially for summer though if you're about projection it doesn't seem to carry quite as strong for winter. I would look to another scent for winter. Test it today and see if it's for you.

Great scent but not for me...

I loved the way this smelled when I sprayed it on the test strip. I asked for a sample and used it for a few days. Unfortunately it did not mix well with my skin and was not as great. I really wanted to Iike it! It's a good unisex smell. Very clean and pleasant.

SMELLS LIKE A CLEAN NAKED MAN OUT OF THE SHOWER!

I'm a female but love to wear men's fragrances as I find they have stronger notes and are not so flowery as women's, which can make my head hurt. This fragrance is hands down my favorite, as it smells just like soap, shaving cream, leather, and makes you a bit nostalgic for any man in your life after a fresh shave. The scent is strong enough to last without being too overwhelming. Smells fresh and clean.

FANTASTIC!

Absolutely one of the BEST colognes for men! This was a bday gift for my son. Prada is one of the few colognes he uses. His girlfriend loves it, as does anyone who smells it, literally. The women’s perfume is equally grand!

One of my husband’s faves this smells so good so sexy and classy if you’re looking for a new fragrance for your man I would highly recommend this

Amazing for women as well

I always tend to wear colognes because warm and spicy men's fragrances melt into a sweet, warm and spicy scent on me. I see a lot of women saying it is clean and soapy but it stays really spicy and warm on my body. If you tend to have to same effect with fragrance, and you want something that will literally last you all day with one application, this fragrance is something to consider. The product does smell clean in the bottle, but spray it on your skin and see what scent your hormones pull from the fragrance. Definitely heavier - more like a fall/winter scent. Definitely warm and spicy but still feminine enough T to wear for me.

Great Women's Scent, Too

I'm a woman, and this is my favorite scent ... for myself. To be clear, I'm a very mainstream, middle-of-the-road type of person. I'm neither a "tomboy" nor am I a "girly-girl." During the summers, on a normal casual day, I usually wear a cute but comfortable sundress, flip-flops, and a little eye makeup. If I'm meeting friends, I might throw on some blush and lip color. Maybe that might give you a sense of me. I love this scent, and I get compliments when I wear it. I know it's supposed to be a man's scent, but ... I just have to say, if you're a woman, don't be afraid to wear this.

From a young man's perspective.

This is my signature fragrance, because it works well with my pheromones. It lasts all day long, and a LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!!!!! Just one spray size amount maybe two does the trick. If you spray foo much, it loses it's fresh fragrance and begins to smell powdery. I always get compliments about it, so listen to the advice in my review.

great scent

I sprayed this colonge on me at the store 3 weeks ago while I was wearing a hoodie jacket. Three weeks later, I put on the jacket and I still smelled the scent...I took the jacket off later that day and I still smelled the scent on myself. which is amazing since many of my colonges lose their scent within a few hours. I'll be buying a bottle for sure. It's a nice clean scent that's not too overwhelming.

Too pretty smelling to be a Man's fragrance

A masculine floral scent can be amazing but Prada over-shot with this one going straight into a feminine floral scent. In my opinion, Prada Amber Pour Homme is much too floral to be a man's fragrance. Five women at work that had smelled this fragrance agree with me. Even in the dry-down it was too much. I ended up giving my bottle to a female co-worker and she loves it. If you are a man that can command a more feminine/floral/soapy/balsamic scent, or if you are a lady that enjoys the same fragrance notes, this fragrance would work well for you. If not, move along, there is nothing to see here. My rating as a Men's fragrance: 1/5 (would give it 0/5 if I could). My rating as a Women's fragrance: 3/5 (smells pretty but not sexy) Disclosure: I am a man.
