I purchased this brush with the RMS uncover up foundation as recommended. I was hoping it would help to achieve a flawless application, but instead it left a streaky mess on my face. It seemed to drink up the product- when I used the brush on my first pot, the foundation lasted about a month, maybe a month and a half with every day application. My second pot I tried using clean fingers to apply the foundation instead and this method not only looked better, but the product lasted over twice as long. Maybe it works well with other products? I’m really not sure as it now just sits in my bathroom drawer.

Too firm and scratchy

Terrible brush for the price. Super firm, almost to the point of scratchy on the skin. The worst part is that it applies product unevenly and streaky. I do not recommend this brush.

love!!!

I love this brush!! I use it for all liquid applications, including highlighters. It is the only brush I take with me on the go and it really does mimic the way your fingers blend. I love using this with the Josie Maran vibrancy palette.

It’s perfect I use it with the rms concealer/foundation !! Really good purchase very good quality brush

Good quality

Works with buruti bronzer. I like that I can use for foundation as well.

too small

It had a nice firmness / density but it’s teeny! The brush head is waaaay too small to be an effective foundation brush.

perfect for uncoverup

I fortunately got this brush free with a purchase from rms.. I didn't use it for a long time and I was missing out. It is perfect if you use the rms uncover up.. can't speak for other foundations. It is a harder brush which is perfect to blend in the creamy concealer like a second skin.

Use Fingers After Application

A little stiffer and harder on my skin than my last foundation brush. It gets into the little corners beautifully around the nose and eyes. I use this with the RMS Uncover-up concealer and it does drag the product a little bit. I use this to widely apply the product to my face and then use my fingers to melt away the fine lines. This combination = a flawless finish. The swirly design also prevents you from getting too much of the thick concealer on your brush at once, which is great.

Must-have to maximize the uncover up!

I was underwhelmed with my UnCover-Up until I finally took the plunge on this brush. It makes a huge difference applying it! Fingertips and even a Beauty Blender didn’t work with the UnCover-Up as well as this brush. Not streaky and great for buffing the product into your skin.

mixed feelings

This brush was not my cup of tea for makeup. My actual rating is 3.5 because I both love and loath this brush. It felt rough and was so hard to clean, it absorbed so much product, whether it was liquid, cream or powder. It took forever to dry, I hang my brushes upside down in front of a fan on low setting and it still took over a full 24hr. Thank goodness it wasn't larger, I couldn't even imagine all of that with a larger brush. I now use it to polish my brass works in my bathroom, it's great for that. Holds in lots of polish and buffs it into the metal perfectly. Which I actually love it for.

Multitasking Marvel!

I use this with my rms uncover up, which is a perfect match. I find if you try to use the brush all over you get too much product. So I pick up a little product with this and lightly buff the brush on wider areas for a sheer cover and then use my finger to conceal small points or areas I want more product. I find the uncover up works better warmed up with fingers. But the brush is perfect for blending out edges. I also use this brush for wide, sheer application of the rms highlighter and then it’s also great for applying a deeper shade of the uncover up as a contour! I can literally take just this brush on trips. Such a great brush!

Made me love Uncoverup. I had purchased the Uncoverup a few months ago and used it a few times but didn’t really like how it looked on. Then I bought this brush on a whim and it truly works well with the foundation. The texture of the brush was made to work with the more solid formulation of the foundation. It goes on perfectly now!! I’m sold!!
