Little Difference in Lashes

I received the travel size of this mascara in a value set and couldn't wait to try it out, but after putting it on this morning, I literally saw no changes except for my lashes being a bit darker. It didn't lengthen, thicken, or volumize, but did smudge throughout the day. It should be called a tinting mascara instead of a "lash multiplying volume" mascara.

This makes my short straight lashes so thick and long, the formula is just thick enough to do multiple layers without looking spidery or falling out during the day, perf.

Absolute best

This mascara is a godsend! Makes lashes so wonderfully thick and long also lasts all day without the flakes. My natural lashes are long themselves but very blond where it looks like I don't have any. This makes all the difference. I do like pairing it with lancome cilx booster xl lash primer. Great lashes are my thing and with this power couple everyone asks if I have falsies.

MOST UNDERRATED AND YET THE BEST MASCARA EVER

I started wearing this to work (I work in healthcare so I have long shifts) and I got so many compliments even from patients. It gives a good voluminous eyelash look and does not get clumpy even after multiple reapplications. I have tried so many mascaras before, even the better than sex mascara but this is the holy grail. Idk why it is so underrated.

Not what I expected

Based on the reviews, I expected to love this mascara. And given the claims of the product, I expected a dramatic change in the volume of my lashes. On first use I was underwhelmed with the results, even after two coats. There was little to no difference in the way my lashes looked after application. I gave this product at least two or three more tries just to see if things would be different after the formula dried out a little, but again, no real difference that I could see. The only effect I have noticed is lash definition, but I was disappointed with the lack of volume or dramatic effect. Perhaps I got a lemon, but I have to say that I won't be re-purchasing this mascara given that I get much better results with other products.

I've tried most drug store brands and a handful of the designers. After paying a ridiculous amount to realize you have to give it away to your teenage daughter I went back to the best. It doesn't clump or transfer. It lasts all day too. The applicator gets the small hard to reach by your nose and the bottom lashes look even. Worth every penny! I hope they never discontinue this mascara...works well with fake lashes also

BEST MASCARA IVE EVER USED

I never write reviews but I had to review this.I have the Better than sex mascara from too faced and although it is good, it's not as good as this. I got this for my 15th birthday 3 years ago and I loved it. I keep buying it! I often use it as an eyelash primer because it really does plump them up and they get A LOT of length. I then go over my lashes with better than sex and I get even more volume. There is no smudge and the mascara doesn't get on your eyelid, which often happens for me with better than sex. I love using this mascara it has never failed me, it's buildable, and it looks like a natural plump lash!

The formula is great for volumizing, however the effect was achieved with another high end brands brush... so the brush in this mascara isnt great to me. The formula also flakes a bit. Did nothing around the house, but had under eye concealer on and got racoon eyes. Went to the gym without any makeup on and there was less flaking, but there was still some. At thirty bucks a pop i expect it to stay put. If your eyes water and/or you rub your eyes at times this isnt great either. I never return anything but this was a hard pass. was trying to find a cheaper mascara bc my HG went up in price again, but ill just pay the extra for mascara i know works. The flaking is really too bad because it makes lashes look amazing without having to use falsies.

MY HG

This mascara captivated me from the moment I tried it as a sample. For reference, I have long lashes that have a strong curl but aren't full. This mascara adds thickness and volume giving me the fullness I lack. For length and separation I use the Benefit Roller Lash over it and the end result is dramatic luscious lashes! It doesn't smudge or flake off which in all honesty is hard to find nowadays unless you turn to a waterproof version which I personally don't like to use. The brush head is large however it's shaped conveniently tapering at the end also making it easy to get into your inner and outer corners. The formula is also really black. Removes easily with an eye makeup remover or in my case my gentle cleanser. I've used many mascaras in my time from drugstore to high end and nothing comes close to it. In conclusion, I would highly recommend it.
